Full-time Air and Water Balancers/ Crew Chiefs

  • Follow job board of scheduled work
  • Coordinate with helper/s
  • Supervision of helper/s
  • Ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition
  • Complete job report
  • Report job progression to Project Manager
  • Complete on site safety checks
  • Report safety check to Project Manager
  • Complete safety check of vehicle
  • Responsible, mature, great communication skills, troubleshooting, independance, driven, experience on construction job sites and appearance is clean and presentable
  • Clean driving and criminal record checks are a must
  • Will be responsible for a company vehicle and company property to be handled and treated better than your own property
  • Punctual, time management skills, ability to multi task and flexibility is key in the job
  • Innovative, foresight and the ability to contribute to the company
  • Engineering understanding is an asset, however an engineering degree is not required
  • Computer skills are required with Excel, TurboCad or AutoCad, and various HVAC programming software will be used
  • HVAC Balancing experience is not necessary, however related transferrable experience is and will require a period of on the job training
  • Required to be physically fit enough to be able to carry up to 100lbs and is not bashful about heights
  • Conflict resolution needs to be strong, calm and thoughtful
  • Reliability, efficiency and impeccable workmanship is expected

Full and Part-time assistants

  • Not required to have on the job experience, entry level position
  • Coordinate with Crew Chief
  • Ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition
  • Use HVAC balancing equipment
  • Complete on site safety checks
  • General labour
  • Learn the industry and the positions – safety standards, Crew Chief, HVAC and water balancing
  • Will be responsible for a company vehicle and company property to be handled and treated better than your own property
  • Punctual, time management skills, ability to multi task and flexibility is key in the job
